Angie's CNY Open House Party

It's the first time I went to Angie's home. She invited most of the mykart gang to her place for a CNY Open House Party. Lots of people are there and lots of fun too. Food was good and at the same the time, there were fireworks too. Thank you Angie for inviting us to your house party~

Fireworks Time~

Right after the family reunion dinner, it is time to blow up some stuff and make the neighbourhood as noisy as possible. I didn't play but just took some photos and let the young ones play since some of them have not played fireworks before.

I listen to songs that I don't really understand what they are singing about, even though I know a couple of the words they say. Just a couple. Last Day of the Lunar Calendar

On the very last day of the Lunar Calendar, we will gather all the family members and have a reunion dinner. We have something called "Lou Sang". It is made from many different types of vegetables and chips. And lastly will add on Raw Salmon but it is optional. Then we will order many dishes. The menu must have fish, prawn, chicken, and vegetables. This 4 dishes is a must. Also there must be leftovers on the table.

Let's hope everyone has a good start with the new lunar year~ I wish mine will go smooth because for the first time of my life, I am not looking forward to the new lunar year. Currently watching this drama. Its a very nice drama. A fusion direction where you see these people in dynasty attire but dancing to house music or even breakdancing. Hahaha~ weird right? But the story is nice and I like it. Its a recommended Korean Drama to watch. I also found a song that is very nice in the drama as well. The song : 태연 - 만약에. Below is the video of the OST~ Enjoy~

Sungha Jung from South Korea

I was youtubing, and somehow my fate brought me to this talented young man. His way and style of playing that guitar is just too awesome. Keep it up Sungha Jung~ May I see you at professional play in the future to come~ Below is what he said:

Hi, I'm Sungha Jung from South Korea. My dream is to become a professional acoustic fingerstyle guitarist.
I had been watching my dad play the guitar for awhile before I finally jumped on it myself three years ago. I just turned twelve in September, 2008.
Currently, I am taking drum lessons and teaching myself fingerstyle guitar.
I used to not have tabs for the music that I played in my videos. I just listen and pick them up directly from the sound source in videos available on the internet. However, recently, I have started playing with original tabs whenever they are available to me by courtesy of the authors.
My old guitar is custom made by Selma to fit my body size, and on it, Thomas Leeb wrote "Keep on grooving to my friend." As of Jan. 1st, 2009 Lakewood acts as sponsor for my guitar officially.
I'm very grateful to those prominent guitarists who have had a great influence on my guitar playing. I'll continue to study them and learn more about interpretation of music and various playing techniques.
My daily practice routine lasts for one to two hours when school is open, but I play up to three hours a day during the school breaks.
It usually takes me two to three days to practice and videotape a new piece but sometimes up to a week for more difficult ones.
Last, but certainly not least, I can't thank Ulli Bögershausen enough for being my musical inspiration.

Ip Man / 입만

After the dinner with my friends at La La Chong / 라라총, I was all alone on a Saturday night. So decided to watch Ip Man 입만 since I was away to Korea 한국 when the movie was launched. The movie was excellent. It basically tells the story of Bruce Lee mentor - Ip Man. And how he fight for his family and country with the Japanese. Above are 2 photos. One of them is Donnie Yen who actored as Ip Man in the movie. The other one is the actual person.

Donnie Yen has been my favourite martial art actor for a long time. Since primary school I reckon. I always love the way he fights and his stance. It's just so beautiful to look at. For those who have not watch this movie, I reckon it's a movie to watch.

라라총에 식사해요~

Went there to have seafood eventhough I got rashes all around me.. hehehe~ surely tonight damn itchy. Anyway, went to this place at Subang Terminal 3 Airport. It is basically just opposite it. The name of the restaurant is call "La La Chong" - 라라총. The food there is delicious - 맛있다. And the price is reasonable too. Not too expensive.

Went there with the karting friends - Muhaymin, Danny, Azlan, Fazz, Yusnee and their missus.

Why? Why does Cyworld Korea does not allow me or foreigners to be a member and so I can talk to my friends. Why are they so strict on it? I know there is something about protecting their members? From what? Does anyone know all these before me? Tell me~ Explain to me~ WHY???

Samsung F480 - New Phone ~ Woohoo ~

The old Samsung mobile phone was starting to give up on me after several fixing. She was good to me, but it's time to say goodbye to her and find a new one. Hehe~ And yes! I am a Samsung Mobile Phone supporter. So went to Sungai Wang, walk the walk and got myself this cool mobile phone that I was long eyeing for it, eventhough it was already been out for ages. Others the price is just too high for me. Now I am wondering if this mobile phone can support korean? Hmm~

Something Wrong

This morning when I woke up, the ear has begun to feel itchiness. And it went on the whole day. I was shocked to see it was swollen in the evening. Not sure what causes it but sure it looks serious.

Welcome 2009~
Happy New Year everyone. Came back from South Korea on 31st December 2008. And reached home just nice at 12.00am for New Year. I miss Korea already. Miss all the good times. Anyway, I wanted to see the first sunrise for 2009. It brings many meanings to me rather than being wasted on the night before it. It means new year, new day, new life, new wishes, new hope, new goals and everything is new as soon as the sun surface. I have only 30 minutes to decide where should I be going to view the sunrise. KL is at the west side of the country, so it will be very hard to view a nice sunrise, unless I go to the west. So that means I have have to go high up~ and the highest place I can think of at 6am in the morning is Genting Highland. So I drove all the way up to see it and make my wishes. Hope it will all come true~ But after all, it all depends on me and myself to make it happen~ I want it to happen~ And I hope your wishes too~
