Ulu Yam

On a beautiful Sunday morning where most of the people will decide to sleep through it, me and couple of friends woke up at 6am in the morning and decided to go for a drive. We went Ulu Yam. Our usual Sunday drive route. Stopped for Ulu Yam Loh Mee before proceeding to Gohtong Jaya and all the way up to Genting Highland.

I know how much I wanted Barcelona to win Man Utd. but since they are coming over to Malaysia during their Asia Tour; I don't mind watching them play and thrash the Malaysia Team :P I got the training pass too~ Woohoo~ Meaning I might be able to get close to them and take photos with them~ :)

Night at the Museum 2

My wife was away again; she works for a travel agency anyway. Hehehe~ so got to make some plans on my own and decided to watch a movie. Can't watch it alone even though I still do that sometimes. Called up some friends and we went to Pavilion and watch the "Night at the Museum 2". Ben Stiller movie's are always funny and interesting to watch. This time is so much better as it involves a few museums rather than just sticking to only one. I will recommend this movie to everyone, from kids to adults. You guys just have to watch it.

my-Kart Driver's Briefing Presentation Layout

It was time for some upgrade for my-Kart's Driver Briefing material. After a meeting, they wanted to have it projected on screen. So I came out with a simple yet professional looking presentation for the club. At the moment, it is still in the process of completion. I will update more pictures of the design later. So for now, enjoy a couple of the page.

By the way, I am not afraid to say this - It has been more than 4 years that I stopped designing almost anything. So please bear with me, if you think the design is not good. And the background image is taken from my brother's laptop wallpaper~ :P

Glory Glory Barcelona

Sacrificing my sleep that night was worth it watching Barcelona thrashing Manchester United in a 2-0 game. Have to wake up at 2am in the morning just to catch the European Champion League Finale 2008/09. The game started with Man U applying pressure from mostly Ronaldo strikes. Either his shots were merely on target or straight to the keeper. But as the game moved on, Barcelona somehow got their momentum and spirit back on form and scored in their 1st attempt by Eto. It went all the way to 45 minutes with just 1 goal. 2nd half starts with Man U creating more mistakes than the 1st, allowing Barcelona to give more pressure to them. An open header for Messi sealed the title for Barcelona. An interesting game and again, a game that worth skipping my sleep for it.

It is always sad to hear someone has left this world. It is sadder to hear that someone left the world by commiting suicide. On May 27th, 2009; Former Korea Roo Moo-Hyun jumped to his death from a cliff. I am someone who is not into politics but if someone was qualified to be a President of his country, then he must be a good man, a good listener and a good leader. May you rest in peace and find peace in the new world that you live it.

T-Mobile Advert

Excellent work from the agency thinking of a way to promote their product. The theme is "Life's About Sharing". They created this dance routine that took place at the Liverpool Station at broad daylight where everyone is doing their own thing and suddenly music came, people start dancing, etc. To catch the whole meaning of this wonderful and brilliant idea of the advertisement, watch it yourself and you will get what I mean.

This is one piece of an excellent art. With the use of an old song that most of us can hardly think of it now, plus the environment and the cooperation of everyone there, excellent~ This is what brings design, art and people together~ Good work~ Keep it up~!!!!

As usual, after working I will be youtubing at home. Came upon this MV and I love this movie when it first launched. Very nice movie. Even hollywood producers too want to remake this beautiful movie. If I am not mistaken, this movie too had me going for a new direction in filming and photography. Enjoy the MV~

Ayer Keroh Kart Track

On May 17th, 2009... Me and a few team mates (Naza, Tarmizi, and Muhaymin) from Alien Racing Team invaded a new kart track at Ayer Keroh. The track is call MIMC or Melaka International Motorsports Circuit.

Above is the race control area where the spectators will be sitting and support their friends and families racing at the track. The VIP area is behind those beautiful green glass.

Tipped to be the largest of its kind in South East Asia, the RM9.9mil MIMC circuit is located on a 35ha site, with 1.7km long and 10m wide racetracks. It has two-tier grand stands with 800 seats, office, ticketing booths, operation room, service and inspection area, clinic and pit-stops for each racing team.

5th Placing - CK125 Open

For the first time, I joined the CK125 Open. I was given the Swiss Hutless Magic chassis and a P4 Rotax Max Engine to race among the rest. The engine is consistently reving 14000 and above. During my practice, I was only able to close 56.oo sec and was queued at 6th row. The front runners are doing the 55s. Heat 1, was able to do some overtaking. Heat 2, started at row 5. Must better start this time and manage to climb all the way to 2nd row. Heat 3 was delayed because the rain came pouring down. And now the track is wet. With less experience on the wet, I was sliding every where and lose many places. So sad. All the effort climbing from row 6 to row 2, gone in a second. Final heat, started back at where I started again - row 6. Gave all I got at this final heat and manage to overtake some drivers and make my way to 5th place. Would have been 4th place if I didn't make a small mistake. Anyway, the race was interesting yet exciting. It was my first race outside my karting club races - myKart. Can't wait for the next round. Shall gain more experience in the next round.

Congratulations to my team mates from Alien Racing Team for conquering the podium. First was Hanif, then Sifu Naza and the newly recruited Mumu. Congratulations guys~ I will catch up to you guys soon.

Got myself a new album recently and was listening to it over and over again. Damn~ it's good. It's been a while that I bought myself a mandarin album and especially JJ Lin. Of all the songs, I kind of like this song. Even though I do not know the meaning of the song yet, but I am loving it. Check it out~

The Misty Broga

My 2nd trip up to Broga Hill in a month. This time the speed was slower than the 1st because was over work-out the last few days. But the weather was cool. Reached the top and it was misty and windy. Very nice. A different view of Broga when the mist came. Loving it. Will be up for more, but now I must look for other hills to climb.
